Kick off Event for “Pharos: The Greek AI Factory”

GRNET announces the Kick-Off Event for “Pharos: The Greek AI Factory” marking the official start of the project. The Ministry of Digital Governance's proposal for Pharos – The Greek AI Factory for Accelerating AI Innovation has been approved under the EU’s EuroHPC Joint Undertaking AI Factories initiative.

The event will bring together consortium members to outline the project’s objectives and structure, focusing on the following:

• Project Introduction and Strategic Perspectives: An overview of the Pharos project, its objectives, and its relationship with the DAEDALUS Supercomputer.

• Work Package Presentations and Coordination: Following the project introduction, the focus will shift to in-depth discussions on the project’s work packages (WPs). Sessions will include areas such as project coordination, technical and operational planning, communication strategies, and AI applications. Consortium members will collaborate to define next steps, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment across all work packages.

• Vertical Services Parallel Sessions: Introduction to the development of AI-driven services within the sectors of Health, Culture and Language, and Sustainability.
