We are pleased to announce the "Data-driven Applications for Exascale Supercomputers" Workshop, organized by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the National Infrastructures of Research and Technology (GRNET), in the framework of the ΕuroHPC projects EuroCC 2 and DCoMEX. The workshop will take place on September 2-3, 2024, in the context of the EMCIS conference.

The Workshop aims to present the latest advancements in the field of high-performance computing with data-driven application in computational mechanics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. 

During the 1st day, esteemed academics will present the latest research from the DCoMEX project, showcasing the integration of AI with computational mechanics to develop innovative numerical methods and a scalable software framework. The presentations will explore both the scholarly and practical applications of the AISolve library, illustrated through case studies on optimizing cancer treatments and designing advanced composite materials. The transformative potential of AISolve across diverse sectors will be highlighted, underscoring its broad-reaching implications and benefits.

On the 2nd day, industrial applications of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) will be presented. Presentations will cover the benefits of utilizing European Supercomputers to improve speed and efficiency, with applications in large language models, biomedicine, climate simulations, computational mechanics, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to gain free access to supercomputing facilities and to get technical consulting on HPC and AI.
