PHAROS AI Factory announces the workshop event “AI Ecosystem Engagement: Sustainability Sector”, co-organised by  GRNET and NCSR Demokritos partners.

Within the framework of PHAROS: The Greek AI Factory project, this knowledge-sharing workshop aims to discuss and map key issues of the Greek Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem. The focus of this workshop is to gather essential information for the implementation of project activities in the sector of Sustainability (energy, environment and climate), with its outcomes feeding directly into the evolution of the project.

The main objective is to ensure that the initial products and services of PHAROS align with the needs of the Greek AI ecosystem. 

The workshop focuses on: 

a. collecting feedback on technical aspects,

b. prioritising which products and services will be activated, and 

c. discussing a framework for collaboration amongst companies and PHAROS within the scope of the project.

Agenda and Audience specifics:

The event is divided into two distinct parts, each designed for a specific audience:

  • Part I – General Session: Addressed to representatives from both the academic community and the wider industry, with a focus on exchanging knowledge and identifying key challenges within the Greek AI ecosystem, as well as potential solutions through PHAROS.

  • Part II – Workshop on Sustainability: Addressed exclusively to thirty (30) representatives from companies and organisations active in the fields of energy, environment, and climate, with a focus on exploring sustainability-specific challenges, gathering feedback, and co-designing solutions tailored to this sector.
