GRNET announces, in the context of the EBSI-NE project, the Demystifying Seminar and Training on the Use of EBSI in Greece that will take place on Friday April 11th, 2025 at GRNET premises and online.

Description: The goal of this event is to introduce the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and its potential applications to relevant stakeholders in Greece. The event is structured in two parts:

  • Session 1 Seminar: An overview of the EBSI initiative and discuss its use cases across various sectors. 

  • Session 2 Training: A hands-on training session focused on specific use cases, providing participants with insights into real-world applications.

Target Audience: This seminar is open to professionals, policymakers, researchers, and anyone interested in blockchain technology and digital innovation. The seminar will be conducted in English. 

The webinar is organised by GRNET – National Infrastructures for Research and Technology in collaboration with CERTH - Centre for Research and Technology Hellas.

What is EBSI and EBSI-NE?

EBSI is an initiative established by the European Commission and the EU member states to develop a European infrastructure for blockchain technology. The project European Blockchain Services Infrastructure – Nodes Expansion (EBSI-NE) is a collaborative initiative between 24 organisations from 14 European countries.
